MEANA Scholarship: 43 new students added this year

MEANA's Scholarship recipient list has reached 196 (43 more students added this year), thanks to a great line-up of sponsors we are lucky to have with us. This year, we receieved 124 application froms from 29 out of all the accredited Engg Colleges in Kerala we solicited nominations from. March-30th - Mini-Marathon

MEANA's participation in the Shamrockshuffle in Chicago was a grand success. This was to raise some fund for our Homeland's Puthupally Project. Our Goal is to raise at least $5000. ou can still contribute to this noble cause ($25, $50, or $100 or you can be a Grand sponsor). The two top fund raisers and Grand sponsors will be honored at the 2008 annual Banquet by Hon. Supreme Court Chief Justice of India. "Malayalee Engineer of the year" award announced for 2007

MEANA Board and Award committee unanimously decided to grand the 2007 Malayalee Engineer of the year award to PROF P. SOMASUNDARAM (Director, I/UCRC for Advanced Studies in Novel Surfactants, La von Duddleson Krumb Professor, Columbia University, New York). Award will be presented on November - 3rd in our 15th Annual Banquet at Rolling Mdws-Schaumburg Holiday Inn.
