History
Malayalee Engineers Association in North America (MEANA) was formally established in 1992 with the help of a few malayalee engineers in the Chicago area. The objective of the association is to bring all malayalee engineers under one umbrella organization and to work together in promoting cultural interaction and professional development of it's members through technical meetings, networking, information sharing, etc. The other objective is to help our native state Kerala through information transfer programs to support engineering projects in Kerala, scholarship programs to promote engineernig education in Kerala etc.
MEANA also provides an excellent avenue to network with fellow Malayalee engineers via technical seminars, banquets, picnics and various other family activities.
MEANA has recently started expanding its network via chapters established in various states across the United States, Florida being the first.
