MEANA brings engineers of Malayalee origin to share our common interests, values and experiences and is involved in many activities for the betterment of society. Some of the prominent activities are Project-1000, a scholarship program to support engineering education in home state Kerala and Project Homeland, a project to enable Malayalee Engineers in the USA to help addressing problems in Kerala from and engineering perspective. MEANA confers an yearly award named 'Malayalee Engineer of the Year' to honor outstanding performances in the field of Engineering.

Besides hosting technical seminars throughout the year, MEANA family meets on various occasions like our annual picnic and annual banquet.
